Windows 10: Help with problem installing apps on windows 11

Hi, so I just bought a new Windows laptop for collage running windows 11 and im trying to get it set up but whenever I try to install any .exe or msi files it will open the MS Store then it will stay for about 5 seconds then crash, I tried to choose the "open with" option in the drop down menu but it is missing so I go to setting and for the app installer there is no option to set the default to open .exe or msi files, Ive only found answers for windows 10 but im running Win11 so please help.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Apps not installing on Windows 10

Method 1.

At first, I suggest you to check if any Windows update is pending. (If yes, install all the Windows update).

  Type update on the Windows search bar and select Check for updates.
  
• Now click on Check for updates button, it will automatically detect the Windows update if pending.
  

Method 2.

Also, I suggest to update the Windows store manually.

  Open Windows store, click on your account on top right corner.
  
• Select Download & updates and click on Check for Updates.
