Windows 10: Help with slow computer

So I told a friend I needed help and he sent me a file that seemed sketchy but I still downloaded and used it and it worked fine but then my pc started slowing down absurdly and I thought that I have a virus. I resetted my computer in hopes that it would fix it up but it's still incredibly slow and I have searched 100 times already on how to check if it's a virus or what I could do about it but I couldn't do anything at all, the analysis from the command center "DISM" ? or something took like 2 hours and it barely reached to 16 percent and I have become desperate because no matter how many a
