    Help with Windows 10 Text Keyboard Shortcuts


    I am a recent convert from macOS to Windows 10 and I'm missing a key feature.

    On macOS you are able to quickly navigate text using keyboard shortcuts such as: control + f to move forward and control + b to move backward.

    On Windows I've only been able to do this using the arrows keys, but that requires me to move my right hand from the keys. This may not seem like a big deal but it adds up over time.

    I've searched around but haven't found a solution. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

    Shortcuts/hotkeys for text suggestion

    I didn't found it official shortcut list, so I ask here.

    Are there are any shortcuts/hotkeys to

    • loop though text suggestions
    • insert the text suggestion

    Windows 10 commands/shortcuts/env. var.

    Keyboard shortcuts to open programs:

    Create a shortcut on the desktop to whatever program you want. Right click -> Properties and fill in the field there. Sadly the shortcut needs to remain on the desktop, but you can hide it.

    Fun fact: If you had keyboard shortcuts for programs pinned to your Windows 7 start menu, those shortcuts still work when you update to Windows 10.
