Windows 10: HELPPPPPPPP I couldn't screenshot but in my desktop there was a chrome shortcut link named...

I couldn't screenshot but on my desktop cuz after screenshot those picturesonly those were not supported by format. In how, there was a chrome shortcut link named watch this. I click on it and it sent me to a normal youtube video and it was my fav game but I never watched that video nor I remember myself breaking desktop formation and added a shortcut to them...What is the meaning of this I'm confused and scared......is someone controlling my laptop????

The desktop shortcut created for a specific website should bear the website's actual logo. With what you've experienced, there could be something wrong with how the shortcut was created.

If you've created the shortcut by selecting Create shortcut, then we suggest that you try the other way, that is by dragging the website icon that appears in the address bar to your desktop. Follow these steps:

• Using Internet Explorer, access a website.
• Once the website opens, you will see its icon in the address bar.
• Click and drag the icon on your desktop.

The website shortcut bearing its actual logo should now be saved on your desktop.

Hotmail desktop shortcut

Hi Paccomail,

In order for you to make a desktop shortcut to your Hotmail account you may follow the steps below:

1. Right-click on an empty space on your desktop, select New.
2. Select Shortcut.
3. Type the web address in the empty field provided.
4. After creating a new shortcut, a window will appear asking you for the location of the shortcut, type in
   www.hotmail.com.
5. Name the shortcut you just created, name this anything you like (ex. Hotmail or Hotmail Login.)
6. Click Finish.
7. Double-click on the shortcut to check if it is working.
