Windows 10: Hep with WSUS server 2012r2

    Hep with WSUS server 2012r2


    I am new to this, so I maybe need extra help to sort this out.

    We have wsus server 2012 r2 which was configured by previous IT Manager.

    Currently the server is not pushing out windows 10 updates( Build 1803) or updating build 1607 or 1709. The product classification is already set for window 10 update & upgrade.


    I have also added following in IIS manager under MIME ( .esd - application/octet-stream) and not sure what else needs to be done so that updates are pushed out to end user and installed in timely manner.

    Some end user PC has the updates, but they are not installed until you invoke it manually.


    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    upgrade windows 10 to 1803 by wsus

    hi every body

    i have WSUS on server 2012R2 . it downloaded upgrade for windows 10 1803 business and consumer version but in my office we have win 10 enterprise.

    please help me. why wsus server does not get upgrade windows 10 1803 enterprise editions?

    Windows 10 Pro x64 machines listed as "Vista" on my WSUS Server


    I'm running WSUS 3.0 on a Windows Server 2012 R2. It doesn't seem to recognize a Windows 10 machine because my Windows 10 Pro x64 machines are listed as "Vista" on my WSUS Server.

    No WSUS update has been issued to bring WSUS up-to-date.
