Windows 10: Here's how Microsoft is training retail staff to pitch Windows 10

Later this month, Microsoft will release Windows 10 and millions of machines around the world will begin the process of starting to update to the new OS. While not everyone will get the bits on the 29th, Microsoft's marketing machine will fire up which means retail staff around the world need to be trained on the OS.

To help bring the world up to speed on the OS, Microsoft has a portal it calls Expert Zone, where retail professionals can learn about the new OS. The site has been recently updated with information about Windows 10 and gives us a good look at how the company is going to pitch the OS.

The basic pitch is that "Windows 10 is familiar but better than ever. With a personal and natural experience that works seamlessly across all of your devices, there's no better way to get stuff done"....

Windows 10 update failed, Error code: 0xc1900107.

Don't listen to these tecs. They know this issue cannot be fixed. When will microsoft hire trained staff ?

Losing Windows 10 Key in the future

Your Windows 7/8 key is not invalidated. You can revert back at any time although the 'easy' route back is only available for 30 days.

If you upgraded from a retail or an upgrade version of Windows and you change your hardware (motherboard) then you are supposed to be able to activate by telephone. But someone posted that people had been asked to re-install their original Windows then
re-upgrade on the new hardware. If think this is probably just badly trained staff giving the wrong answer but obviously this would present a problem after 29th July 2016.

There is no tie between email address/Microsoft X#Account and your Windows 10 key.
