Windows 10: Here's how to fix only fullscreen start menu opening if you have tried everything else.

A while ago i had this issue where my windows 10 start menu didn't open. I tried all solutions but none of them worked! The problem was that whenever i tried to ope my start menu, the icon would just turn grey and n menu would pop up. If i used fullscreen, however, it would open and work fine. Here is how ti fix it:If nothing else worked, what i tried is opening the menu and trying to expand it with the mouse like you would resize a window. For me, the menu was just really small and all i had to do was to put my mouse in the correct spot so that i can resize it and adjust the menu's size to a

How to fix start menu after update?

I have the same problem, I tried the suggested fixes but it did not work... The only change after rebooting is that I do not see a "critical error window" open when I click on the start menu anymore. I have no idea what to do. Any brilliant idea out there?
