    hesitation when typing the same letter twice. how to correct this?


    There is to much hesitation when striking the same leter twice and second letter doesn't type. ex. leter for letter. How to fix this??

    My keyboard types some letters twice

    Why does my keyboard sometimes type letters twice when am typing for example i may mean to type dont but i get donnt (The "n" was typed twice).

    This happenns on most of the keys.

    Please Note that am using a brand New llapptop (laptop) - DELL
    I recently upgraded from Windows 7 professional to Windows 10

    Also Note tthat I went to the Keyboard settings under Control panel and adjusted the Repeat rate and Repeat Delay to the lowest value possible but that didn't help.

    I have the Integrated PS/2 Keyboard drivers (I tried installing the HID Keyboard Device driver but I failed)

    I need help please bbecause this thing can be very annoying...

    I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve this issue.

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

    • Open Disk Management (press [Win] +[R], type "diskmgmt.msc", and press [Enter]).
    • In the lower pane, right-click on the partition that you want to change drive letter, and click "Change Drive Letter and Paths"
    • A dialog should come up, showing the partition's current drive letter. Even if it is correct, click [Change].
    • From the dropdown, select any new letter, and then [OK] your way back to Disk Management. And check if it helps.

    • Where are you trying to type a letter?
    • Which application or program are you using to type the letter?

    I suggest you to use WordPad or notepad for type the letter or any documents or else please do let us know what exactly you are trying to do? Which application are you looking for typing the letter?
