Hey even after I've used a lot of data why does it still shows 0 in data usage I am providing a screenshot below

This information is provided for other users that encounter this problem.

I had a similar situation to original OP where data usage counter is showing 0.

What worked for me was to go into WiFi click on the wifi connection, change the connection from metered = off to metered = on, reboot and hey preseto the count shows non-zero. I then repeated the above process resetting the connection from metered = on back
to metered = on and tested that it was now incrementing. I am not sure that I solved the underlying problem that caused the problem, but at least it addresses the immediate problem of not see data usage. Hope this helps others.

 

Data usage is not showing in windows 10.

I have upgraded to windows 10 nearly one month before.

earlier I had windows 8.1 in which i was able to check my data usage easily.

But in windows 10, in spite of having option to check data usage, it doesn't show the data usage though I use wifi connection.

It always shows 0 bytes used which is not expected.

Because of this problem I am not able to check that how much data I have used.

Since I am using limited data plan so it is creating problem in data usage management.

I have upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 Home . The data usage screen values like Ethernet , Wi-Fi values are always showing 0 MB

If i click Usage Details Links then in App Usage screen System is showing always 0 MB.

what could be the issue . I almost check all the enabled services still values are not appearing.
