Windows 10: Hey, every time I leave Windows Explorer open it not responds

Hey, every time I leave Windows Explorer open in the background for a while, it does not respond, and when restart it, it never finishes and leaves it as is. My start menu doesn't open, taskbar icons won't load along the desktop. Is there a way to fix this problem?

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Cortana not responding after "Hey Cortana"


Hey guys, I have windows 10 pro 64bit and a couple days ago when I said hey cortana it opened up and I could say stuff like what time is it. Now (without changing anything) it responds to "Hey Cortana" but after that it just says "Listening..." until I close it. Same thing if I trigger it with the mouse. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

It's possible that your microphone settings are incorrect. Let's try the following steps and check if it resolves the issue.



Step 1: Check if you have enabled the "Hey Cortana" feature



1. Click on the Windows Search bar or Press Windows key.

2. Click on the Hamburger sign at the top left of the window and click on
Settings.

3. Enable Let Cortana respond when you say 'Hey Cortana' option.

4. Now check if it works. (Tip: After you say "Hey Cortana", follow up with a question/service for Cortana to

respond).
