Windows 10: Hey guys. What would be the reason for my internet and and hardwire being connected but not...

Reckon my in the bottom right of the screen shows broadband and Ethernet connection. Thats great then you go through a browser to get to the website but it want open up it. But my phone and tablet are connected to WiFi

PC is hardwired in no connection to router

There can be a lot of reason for this kind of network failure. In general, we should consider:

• General network access
  
  • This does not seem likely as it seems that your other devices are fine (I assume, correct me if I am wrong).
    
• Incorrect setting
  
  • There might be some setting which is ok for old network setup while not for the new one.
    
• Software failure
  

May I know:

• Are you using a wireless network setup on your PC?
  
• By the way, when you say hardwired, you mean connect with ethernet cable right? Just to be sure there no imply in your problem description.
  
• Give me the status image of your network setting, which should contain a lot of detail information I need.
  

For now, my suggestion is:

--There are a lot of possible reason for network problem, so without your information I could not give too specific solution, like if your other device has connection problem too that will be a totally different situation, pardon me.

[table][tr][td]Rewire your physical connection: Plug and unplug the ethernet cable. Check access to the routerCould your computer reach the router by visiting the router config page.

• If you do not know the config page address(Normally 192.168.1.1)

Open the Command Prompt by typing “cmd” in the search bar and hitting enter. Then type “ipconfig” and press enter. A list of information will appear, look for “Default Gateway” and next to it, you’ll find the IP address. Network reset:To use network reset, open Settings, then select Network & internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset > Reset now. [/td][/tr][/table]
