    How can I stop this update from running.

    first,I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop. It orignally had windows 7. I updated to 10. about 2 or three months ago Synaptics driver updated Synaptics SMBus TouchPad and i lost my cursor. I rolled back the driver to get the cursor back. Every time there
    are updates to the Windows 10 OS it runs the
    Synaptics driver update for Synaptics SMBus TouchPad and I have to roll it back again. How can I stop this update from running.

    BSOD - KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (SynTP.sys) - Windows 10 Pro

    My HP Elitebook 8470p--out of nowhere--showed the BSOD with the: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (SynTP.sys). After reading some other "like-issues", I have concluded that it is my Synaptics driver for my touchpad or maybe my fingerprint reader. On the Synaptics
    website, these are the following resource drivers for download:

    Windows 10 PS/2 and SMBus Devices v19.0.19.1

    Windows 10 I2C Devices v19.0.19.1

    How do I know which one to download--providing that is the problem?
