Hey I was installing window server but failed to run it on virtual machine now my laptop screen is stuck on window server 2022 standard evaluation and I can't do anything on my laptop got some assignments need to finish on but now I can't use my laptop

Virtual Machine could not be started because the hypervisor is not running server

Am getting the above error when trying to start virtual machines on my server running windows server 2012 R2. They were working fine but we had an unexpected shutdown due to power outage. I have tried the solutions below but none worked.

• Restarting the Hyper V Virtual Machine Management service.
  
• Setting the hypervisorlaunchtype to auto.
  

Please help. The physical server is HP proliant DL120 Gen9

 

Want to setup Xeon server running with atleast 15-20 Virtual machines in Budget

Did you make sure to grab the video drivers for the virtual machine? That happens more times than I can count on Windows server where it just decides to install generic video drivers and its all choppy.
