Windows 10: Hey I would like to know how to install a specific game Battlefront 2 the CD variant

Hello Guys !



so recently i bought Star wars Battlefront 2 Ultimate edition the CD variant and i have just installed the frist CD and it worked as a game with multiplayer skirmish and single missions . The problem is that i dont have any story mode and in the package remained other three CDs . And i will need you guys to tell me how to install the rest of them cause when i put them into the pc its shows in the folder menu what is containg that certain CD and i think i have to putit somewhere can u give me the instructions step by step ?

Installing game from CD issue

Hey,

I got a problem with installing a game to my computer from CD. The game is a bit old (2007) and Windows 10 blocks me from installing it. It says something like "This application is blocked for your protection". I can only press Close. I tried two methods
I found from the internet:

1. Turning off Smart Screen

2. Enable the hidden administrator account via CMD. (I tried to type "net user administrator /active:yes" and it simply just said "no user found").

Any suggestions?

 

Unable to install dictonary from CD

    Is the issue specific to a particular CD or are you able to read other files from other discs?
    

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to check if the particular application that you are trying to install is compatible with Windows 10.

You may also copy all of the content inside the CD to a folder and try to install it in compatibility mode.

Please follow the below steps:

1) Right click on the Program.

2) Click on Properties.

3) Click on Compatibility tab.

4) Select Run this program in compatibility mode (try different Operating systems) and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list.

Step 1:

I suggest you to right click on the game and try to run as administrator and check.

Step 2: if that doesn't help I suggest you to install game in compatibility mode and check:

Follow the steps below on how to install game in compatibility mode:

1. Download the game from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the game and select “Properties”.

3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

5. Let the game install and then check the functionality.
