Windows 10: Hey Microsoft, Listen Up.

So... I have one teensy tiny question. Are all Windows 10 devices complete crap? First of all, my CPU ramps up to 100% every time I move the mouse, and this is a $400 laptop. I can’t even run two tabs of google chrome while listening to music. Second, I had to completely dismantle my laptop to get the battery out due to the fact that the laptop was built with freaking aluminum foil on the inside, gee how heat resistant. It can’t sit on a desk and run a program, also my computer was built without a freaking air vent, you can forget about a fan. My CPU crashed and burned (literally) and I almost tossed my laptop with all my content still on it. Third, half of the Windows 10 features that I am supposed to have (Being able to turn on WiFi Direct, deleting or blocking other displays) ARENT EVEN INCLUDED IN MY SOFTWARE! Ladies and gentlemen, that leads me to the question of the night. I did waste my money on this piece of garbage, apparently you have to put down a thousand bucks to get a reliable laptop. I’m not even connected to the internet and yet you still allow people to access my computer. And don’t even get me started on customer service, it costs more than buying a new laptop. You’d think they’d be required to offer support over the phone for free, apparently not. Screw constitutional rights and the sake of dignity, these people only care about money. They sure stole mine.

Listening for Hey Cortana

If Cortana is turned on and always listening for the command "Hey Cortana," what is it and/or Windows 10 doing with everything else the microphone is picking up?

 

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
