Windows 10: hey there, i was trying to cast my laptop to my smart tv, but its says that it wouldnt...

i got a dell inspiron 7425 windows 11 and it wouldn't let me cast on the TV , it shows a message "Connecting" and then after a while it shows "Couldnt connect". i have installed, uninstalled and reinstalled the wireless display driver. But still nothing works out. what could be the issue?

The other similar thread to this says 'Cast to' used to work to a Samsung TV but now it doesn't. This would imply something is 'wrong' with our Win 10?

Can anyone suggest some more troubleshooting steps to try to determine what the issue is?
