Issue identified Found pdf files not opens through adobe acrobat reader version - 2023.006.20320 after the installation of the update September 12, 2023—KB5030211 OS Builds 19044.3448 and 19045.3448 on the systems which runs on Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC Version - 10.0.19044 Build 19044SolutionUninstalled and reinstalled adobe acrobat reader with latest version and performed a clean reboot of the system.

Sorry for the delay in response.

If you have issues with acrobat reader, we would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the application.

• To uninstall, type appwiz.cpl
• Right click adobe acrobat reader and then Uninstall
  it.

You may also check for the reader app in store and then install it.

 

Windows 10 won't recognise Adobe Acrobat Reader on my laptop so I can't open PDFs - any suggestions?

There could be a number of factors as to why you are having issues launching the Adobe Acrobat Reader app. This could be caused by a software conflict or due to an issue with the application itself.

I suggest that you reset your Adobe Acrobat Reader application by following the steps provided below:

• Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features.
  
• Click the Adobe Acrobat Reader app from the list and then choose Advanced options.
  
• Click Reset.

Hi Rob,

I discovered that lo and behold, my inability to open Adobe Acrobat Reader is not related to having Kaspersky Internet Security installed on my computer. I deinstalled Kaspersky and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat Reader and the same problem is there. As a
last step, I will deinstall Malwarebytes and Adobe Acrobat Reader and reinstall Adobe Acrobat Reader and just verify that there is no interaction between the 2 programs. I think I am going to end up working with Adobe to resolve the problem which I don't
look forward to.
