    i am trying to see chunks in Minecraft, so i have to press f3 + g to enable chunks, but since om on a 60% keyboard i have to press fn + 3 to press f3, so when i press fn + 3 + G, my computer reads fn + G and lowers my volume instead. how do i fix this?

    why do i have to hold my fn key to lower the volume

    FN key always on

    Fn key got absolutely nothing to do with BIOS.

    It just requires some bizarre combination. One of this should do the trick:

    fn + scrl
    fn+ num
    fn + F11
    fn + F8

    Problem with FN key


    i have an HP and the option is in the BIOS ..
    ie. i use FN + F6/F7/F8 for volume control..
    - if i don't enable it in the BIOS.. i don't have to include FN combination..

    id search in the BIOS.
