Windows 10: Hi folks! I'm facing an issue with my Windows 10 laptop's battery life.

Recently, it seems to be draining much faster than usual, even with minimal applications running. I've checked for background processes, updated drivers, and adjusted power settings, but the problem persists. Has anyone experienced sudden battery drain on Windows 10 and found a solution? Any insights would be fantastic. Thanks in advance!

Laptop battery issue

I'm pretty sure the E1505 has "speed step" on it. Double checkthe speed step settings to make sure they are set for long battery life, maybe it's somehow reset itself?

I did check it out and already had it disabled so enabled and still no battery showing up in the bios. I guess I'll be taking it apart

What is the make and model of the laptop?

I suggest you to un-install and re-install battery drivers from Device manager and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Device Manager.
• Expand Batteries and right click on Batteries ACPI and click on Un-install.
• Restart the computer and check.
