Windows 10: Hi guys , i hope you can help me with my problem , its a start up problem here is the details.

Hi guys , i made a mistake and i'm really frustrated and hopless , i hope you guys can help me . My laptop is a hp pavilion 7 notebook , yesterday i was changing some settings, then i enterd msconfig from excecute then boot - advanced options - then i put all my 4 cores and all my ram capacity then i pressed apply then ok then i restarted my pc , and while the boot up i get a blue screen says BAD SYSTEM CONFIG INFO , and restarting again on an endless loop , i was not able to enter recovery mode in any ways possible. I hope some of you help me as fast as you can because i really need the files

Hey guys, graphical problem...

Hi peeps, got a major problem on my hand at the moment.

Getting a "This Device cannot start. (Code 10)" error in Device Manager under the Display adapters, the card being used is an nVidia GeForce 8600 GTS, warranty is out aswell.

It's my step dads PC and I've never actually had this problem before, I've scanned about and updated the device by Windows Update, that didn't solve it and I've also tried a manual update with the latest drivers from nVidia's own website.

As to which that never solved the problem either, I've a picture here for you all to have a look at, I'm at loggerheads at present as I'm unsure on what's caused the problem and how I can fix it, although I am going to put in his old GFX Card temporarily to see whether that encounters the same problem.

I was hoping someone has come accross this and can help me find a fix for it *Big Grin

OS is Windows XP Home, Version 2002, Service Pack 3.

Problem with Sapphire GTO2...

i have read of this problem and the solutions suggested for this were to turn the VSYNC option to ON in video/graphics settings for the game ! hope that helps !

Hi,

The fact that your PC failed to start the very first time is worrying, and suggests hardware problem.

Screen gibberish with Ubuntu can be normal (way the GPU driver kicks in).
However, the screen gibberish during Windows load is unheard of, and suggests GPU problem (or windows corruption)

I'd suggest running a thorough memtest86+ from bootable CD/USB first.
Possible problems:
- power supply
- memory
- graphics card
- windows corrupted
