Unable to delete a folder - Invalid folder name

    Suggestion:
    1. Run chkdsk x: /r to make sure that there's no HD corruption.
x: is the drive containing the folder you want to delete.
    2. Try to delete the folder again. If still does not work, go to step 3.
    3. Download: Download - Linux Mint and create a bootable USB using: Rufus - Create bootable USB
    4. Boot up with Linux Mint and try to delete the folder again.
NOTE: Unlike WinPE. Linux does not have any Windows permission imposed to it so it is easier to delete.

Guide: How to enable, use, and configure SLI on Linux.

I guess the next logical step would be to report on the performance you can get with SLI in Linux. That'd be my suggestion anyway.

Path to folders messed up. How to rename no name folder.

    Hi,

I think you should be able to access the nameless folder via Linux. Install Windows Subsystem for Linux distro on your Windows 11 computer using these steps:

    Launch CMD as administrator.

    Type the following command:

    • wsl --set-defaultversion 1
    and then type:

    • wsl --install --d Ubuntu
Now, the Ubuntu distro will download and install automatically.

Type in the new username and password for Ubuntu when prompted. (Store the credentials safely in case you need then later.)

Once installed, close the Command Prompt and WSL windows.

    • Press Shift and right-click on the unnamed folder, click "Show more options".
    • Select "Open Linux Shell here"
In the Linux shell, make sure you're currently in the unnamed folder. The Unix/Linux prompt tells you the current location.

Type the following commands to create a new folder and copy the files/folders recursively to the new folder.

    • mkdir ../destfolder
    • cp * -r ../destfolder
That's it. You have now copied/recovered the files from the unnamed folder to a new folder named "destfolder" ("S:\PlexMedia\Videos\DestFolder").
