Hi I am currently trying to sell my old windows computer. In the past I have sold a computer before after resetting windows. Once I was into the windows setup screens I turned the computer off. Later after the computer was sold and the customer tried to use it they were stuck on a sign in screen with no way of logging in or setting up the device. Thankfully I was able to fix the problem over the phone by reinstalling windows on the device. How do I avoid something similar to this when selling my old computer now. Thank you.

Copy and Paste problem - Windows won't do it

Windows 10: computer keeps tabbing out of currently used program

• Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
• Have you tried updating your Windows 10 computer to its latest update?
• Have you tried to turn off the Get tips, tricks and suggestions as you use Windows
  in the Notification & Actions Settings of your Windows 10 and see if you will still encounter the same issue?
  

If you are not able to turn off that in the Notification & Actions Settings, you can follow the steps below:

• Press the Windows key.
• Type Notifications & Actions.
• Deselect the option Get tips, tricks, and suggestions as you use Windows.
• Restart your computer.

Optical Drive Issue

Here's mine after I rt clk'd on my Documents Folder like you show in Scrsht 11:




I'd like to wait until you reply to my question in Scrsht 12, if it is a remnant of the process try deleting the one on the dsktp and see if the one in send to also disappears. If it stays in send to, test it, and if you're still having problems I'd suggest you could go back to: Option One: To Add or Remove Items in Send To context menu for Your Account (current user) and do Step 3 to remove it and start over using Step 4 but be very careful of your steps in creating the shortcut and be sure you d&d that shortcut to the send to part of the address.
