Windows 10: Hi! I can't seem to successfully install the OS because of windows updating my AMD gpu driver.

I first encountered this while using my windows 11 computer. It was fine for 2 years. I kept my temps on check and it was never above 80c for both the cpu and gpu. Suddenly my computer restarted, and the display shut off with a message that there is no display.What I tried doing is to reformat the pc first while keeping the files and the problem still persist, the next approach I tried it so cleanly remove everything from the pc. But the moment it starts up and got into windows 11 log in page the displays shut off once again.After doing all that, I tried to download an old version of windows 1

Windows 7 wont install drivers

i dont think anyone here understands what your asking either when its nearly a 90% english dominated Tech forum.
Step 1
reinstall windows from scratch
Step 2
install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
Step 3
update windows
Step 4
install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
Step 5
Install GPU drivers
Step 6
go back to using your pc without issue.

If you having an issue installing a driver that worked before you formatted or wont install on a fresh build, sometimes this means hardware damage

 

When installing AMD GPU, should I do full installation, or minimal? Also, what major different do they have?

I understand the issue you have, there is nothing to worry I am here to help, better if you can do a full installation of the GPU, as it will remove the older drivers and registry which can make incompatibility, in addition, to installing AMD GPU, I suggest following the steps below:

Step 1. Completely uninstall the AMD GPU Driver using the steps from this link:

Step 2. Reinstall the AMD Graphics driver using the steps from the link below:

Install AMD Radeon and automatically detect the AMD driver: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/rs-install
