Windows 10: hi I have a gigabyte motherboard model B560m ds3h v2 and a mushkin 2TB nvme drive I updated...

I have try everything on my motherboard gigabyte B560m ds3h v2. I have a mushkin 2 TB nvme it's recognized on the bios but I'm unable to upgrade successfully the driver on windows device manager also mushkin doesn't have a driver for windows 10 any help appreciated. I need to go forward on this issue so I can format my nvme to gpt and successfully use this nvme as a boot drive . Thanks

If you are having issues, please make sure your BIOS is updated to the latest -

Win 10 installed another boot loader to an unformatted 2TB Nvme M.2 now I can't access the existing UEFI boot manager

Greg, your reply is what I always do. When something like this happens the culprit is or used to be a failing hard drive. I would go to the manufactures website, download something like "WDdiag", diagnose the hard drive and request a replacement. However this was something different. After removing everything, (I call it computer basics 101) I found a hard drive listed in the BIOS and because it was showing up as a 2TB Nvme , I assumed it was installed on this motherboard but to my surprise there was no Nvme. I decided to run the computer as essentials only Motherboard, RAM, Video Card and the Hard Disk with Windows installed already and, it works. This computer is up and running showing 1 970 Evo Plus 2tb NVME M.2. in the Device Manager and in the BIOS as the boot loader. So the next question is, since this motherboard was probably never meant to handle what I installed on it, I should replace it with something that can. P.S the computer is a Gigabyte X670E ASORUS Master, Ryzen 7 7700X, 32gig of EXPO RAM, Corsair RM1000X power supply and Nvidia 3000 series graphics card. Also everything in the Device Manager is listed as working properly so no changes are necessary and, I installed the proprietary drivers for this Motherboard and Video Card by making sure to delete, remove using DDU anything that would conflict with the OS. in safe mode
