Windows 10: Hi I have a HP envy 17t-bw000 laptop battery

Hi I have a HP envy 17t-bw000 laptop I change the keyboard out cuz the back light went out hooked everything back up and now the battery does not work I bought a new battery and replaced it and it still doesn't work it only works when I plug it in with the adapter don't know what is going on I've tried resetting it many times I've tried to 15 minute wait 30 minute wait put the power button pushed down still does not work I even decided to go into the settings and delete the battery stuff and put it back in and it still does not work the power cord light indicator blinks white when the battery

I suggest you to un-install and re-install battery drivers from Device manager and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Device Manager.
• Expand Batteries and right click on Batteries ACPI and click on Un-install.
• Restart the computer and check.

If the issue persist, I suggest you to visit HP Envy website and check whether HP has released any firmware updates for Windows 10. If so, please go ahead and install them and check with the issue.

 

Do you need a wireless mouse for HP envy 17t

Just purchased a HP Envy 17t....there is no port for a mouse....I have to purchase a wireless blue tooth mouse.

Thanks for the advise.

I have reinstalled the batteries ACPI in device manager about 5 times, but with no success.

Have also ran all updates, including bios updates from HP.

Finally did battery health check from Bios and using HP tool and both say the batter health is okay.

Is there anything else that can be done? I know another friend of mine who has had the same issue on his Sony vaio laptop after windows 10 upgrade.

Hope this can be resolved.
