I tried to boot it by downloading windows on another laptop and transfering by usb but it doesn’t work

How can I find the password for my Windows 10 laptop?

I found a solution to my problem. What I did was:

1. Open Network & Sharing Center on the laptop.
2. Click "Change advanced sharing settings"
3. Expand the "All Networks" item.
4. Change "Password protected sharing" from On to Off.

Now when I click my laptop name in File Explorer > Networks, it just shows my shared folder without asking for a network credentials password. This is how it used to work before.

Bought a tablet from a kid on a trade app. It's password locked hp stream 7. I've tried factory reset but it asks for a reset disk. It only takes SD cards. Micro at that. Tried plugging into my laptop and it doesn't even recognize it. Any help? Hate to
be screwed on this barter. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I have a HP pavilion laptop and forgot the user password to open the computer.

Does anyone know the correct command to use to reset the password. My user name and password is not listed with windows or microsoft.
