Windows 10: Hi I just got an error "The requsted operation requries elevation" in my Win11.

Yesterday I was missing around and I removed the administrator from my account by MISTAKE ,I tried to open settings "Change account Type" This is the first time i got it I searched the internet for a solution all of them say to turn off the UAC but I couldn't open it, I even tried to make a local account but it didn't work ,now I am stuck here. Oh right this message was in the more detail CLSID : {EA2C6B24-C590-457B-BAC8-4A0F9B13B5B8} . The only thing I could do is to insert my fingerprint and it says Hi "my username" for a millisecond and go away. PLZ HELP. Sorry but i can insert any of my

Error "The requested operation requires elevation" for Win11 home

Hi,

There are 2 hotmail accounts on my laptop. Account 1 was used first for the starting setting procedure of the system so it is an administrator. I added Account 2 later. I want to change Account 2 to administrator.

I disabled the administor of Account 1 first by: 1. clicking Win-x 2. select Terminal (Admin) 3. type Disable-LocalUser -Name account1.

Now I can't do any administrator jobs, including changing Account 2 to administrator or recovering to factory setting. Whenever I try to do admin jobs, the system asks for fingerprint. If I use the finger of Account 2, error "The requested operation requires elevation" is shown.

I tried to remove finger login in Settings / Accounts / Sign-In options / Fingerprint recognition / Remove. But the system still asks for fingerprint.

I have pin and can use pin to login to the laptop. But the system only shows fingerprint option for admin jobs.

Still any way to change Account 2 to admin? Thanks for any suggestions. My system is Winodws 11 home 22H2.

 

Windows 7 - The requested operation requires elevation

• I know very little about computers and understand less.
• I used Open Office (4.1.0) for ages without a problem, until for no discernable reason (that I could understand - I certainly didn't operate my PC any differently) I started to get the "requires elevation" message.
• I started to use Libre Office. Again, I used this for a long time without issue, until one day recently I got the "elevation" message - again, not having done anything different.
• After I changed to Libre Office, I used it to open Open Office documents. I am now using Word Pad to open Open Office and Libre Office docs, but it does not support everything, so the settings are sometimes off - out of alignment etc.
• This PC is in my home. I am the only user and therefore I have the only Profile. I am the Administrator. As such I am bemused. Why does the PC that only I ever use think that I need a higher elevation? And a higher elevation than the Administrator??!!
• If anyone has an answer or a suggestion as to what I can do to fix this, please bear in mind that I will need words of one syllable and VERY clear instructions! To be honest, I am not hopeful. I have seen numerous suggested answers in response to this error
  message, and so far they have not worked. That said, I have not seen my particular issue being raised.
