We appreciate the information you've provided regarding the product ID. To resolve your concern, we suggest that you do the following steps:

• Click on Start and type: Command Prompt.
• Right click on it and select Run as administrator.
• Type: wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey.
• Press Enter. That should give you the product key to type in the activation.

Need the product key

To get your product ID you have to do these steps:

1. Digit "cmd" in windows search bar

2. Right click on "Command prompt"

3. Select "Run as Administrator"

4. Digit "wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey" without quote and press ENTER

Read the code after "OA3xOriginalProductKey", that's your product key.

NOTE: product Id and Product Key are two different thing so they aren't connected. Product Id identifies your Version of Windows, product Key is your license for Windows.

 

have old product ID but lost product key
