Hi, I recently had my laptop locked by bitlocker on an account with microsoft that I don’t use anymore. I want to restore my laptop. How can I do that without loosing my apps, files and data?

Locked from BitLocker. What Microsoft account is my device on?

I decided to update the bios my laptop, and now I am locked out because of BitLocker. My understanding is that I can retrieve the recovery key from my Microsoft account. But, when I looked in my devices my laptop was not listed under my devices. How can I find out what account my laptop is registered in while being locked from BitLocker?

Locked laptop, no password, Bitlocker locks the drive

A colleague expired recently and left his laptop (issued by the office) locked and Bitlocker locks the drive. We don't know what password he used and the Bitlocker recovery key. How can we reformat the laptop if there's no other way to access it?

 

How do I connect a bitlocked laptop with my Microsoft account?

I do not know the Bitlocker recovery key nor the password. I tried to get the key logging into my Microsoft account from another device. However, my laptop is not listed in my connected devices despite of me always using this account to log into my laptop.

Is it possible to somehow connect my locked laptop with my Microsoft account, eventually using cmd? And another question: How is it possible that my laptop is not displayed in my Microsoft account but all my other devices are? All of them belong to the same organization.

As for the reason why my laptop is locked in the first place: I updated some drivers. Alternatively, is it possible to undo driver updates in cmd to surpass bitlocker?
