I recently used an ethernet cable to transfer several folders from a MacBook to Windows 11 and now it looks like my computer's IP address has changed since I get the screenshot seen below. I am able to connect to Wi-Fi but I don't have internet. I've tried reinstalling the adaptor, restarting the modem and a full network reset but noting has worked so far and I still get the same message that the IP address is different.The thing is, I have internet using an ethernet cable but not with Wi-Fi so the issue is purely with the Wi-Fi.

you get the idea. ( too lazy to put it in a for loop and test it.

or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.

 

Transfer files from Macbook to Windows 10

Hi all,

I've recently bought a laptop with Windows 10. Now I want to transfer the files (documents, photos & music) from my old Macbook, still running on Snowleopard. I do use a time machine backup, however I believe this is only suitable for macbook to macbook.

Any tips on what the best way to transfer files is?

that's all off already dude lol, I'm really surprised there is no fix for the recent files list/MRU in the file menu of programs haha

I appreciate the help, MS really needs to implement a Group Policy or a string that can do that for all programs installed
