Windows 10: Hi, I would like to know how can I remove these keyboards on Windows 11

I only wanted to keep the ENG keyboardThese VIE keyboards are really annoying for me, I've search solution on google but I can't find any results to get rid of these keyboards

Cannot remove Keyboard Layout

It is possible that you need to configure your keyboard layout that is why you still see it in the list even you already remove it. To address your issue, we suggest that you follow the steps on this

Remove language from the keyboard

Hi,

I follow all the steps listed here. However, the "Remove" button is not active

How can I activate the button?

Step 1: System
Settings window.

1. Press Windows logo + I keys on the keyboard to open
   Settings page.
2. Click on Time & language from the options and select
   Region & language from the left side panel of the window.
3. Click on the keyboard language you want to remove under Languages and click on
   Remove.
4. Close the window and check if the changes are effective.

 

Windows 11: issues with removing and automatic switching keyboard settings

I understand that you're having trouble with your keyboard settings in Windows 11. Here's how you can address the issues:

Problem 1: Removing Unwanted Keyboard Layout

If a keyboard layout is associated with the system language, it may not be possible to remove it directly from the keyboard settings. You may have to change the system language to another language temporarily, remove Dutch (Netherlands), and then switch back your system language to English.

Here are the steps:

1. Go to Settings > Time & Language > Language & region.
   
2. Under "Windows display language", select another language temporarily.
   
3. Go back and under "Preferred languages", click on English (United States) or whichever version of English you're using.
   
4. Click on "Options".
   
5. Under "Keyboards", you should now be able to remove Dutch (Netherlands).
   
6. After removing it, go back and change your Windows display language back to English.
   

Problem 2: Default Keyboard Layout

The default keyboard layout that Windows uses when you log in is determined by the default input method in your account settings.

Here's how you can set Dutch (Belgian) as your default input method:

1. Go to Settings > Time & Language > Typing.
   
2. Click on Advanced Keyboard Settings at the bottom of this page.
   
3. Under Override for default input method, select Dutch (Belgian).
