    BSOD my sons pc won't let me restore to an earlier date so we are stuck we're beginner's and don't have money to get it checked pls hlp this is his important as he's just leaving school and will be preparing to go into year 12 so it's important to us.thankyou

    Yeah; those particular WD NVMe drives are 2 generations old. Succeeded by the SN 750 and the brand new SN 850.

    I'd guess the board isn't a new model either, but didn't check.

    Drive compatibility lists are rarely updated.

    I'd assume any M key NVMe would work.
