Windows 10: Hi! Im having a bit of a problem, i just started up my pc and can't see anything

I just started my pc up and all is working fine, but then i try to click the icon on the task bar but it wont show, only the desktop! If i hover on it it shows its there but if i move my mouse away from the preview its gone again! Please help

im in a bit of a pickle....

none of these suggestions have yet to do anything to solve my problem, or do anything at all. any more suggestions?

 

Having periodic PC startup problems

Was not able to reply sooner because my periodic problem decided not to appear for a while. I tried your suggestion of holding down the power button 4-5 seconds and it worked. Problem is that this method did not cure my original problem, of course, but it did lessen the steps I have to take to get the computer to work properly. I am still hoping someone will have a solution other than wiping it clean then starting over again.

 

Windows Update fails. BITS service will not start.

I have the same problem. I have tried both procedures listed here with no help. The dos window says at the end of the process of Method 2. Bits could not be started, specific error occurred 2147942402. Help msg 3547. I have also tried every suggestion
on the internet with no help still not updating due to bits not starting. I just upgraded to windows 10 from 7 on an ASUS Eeec pc 1015 when this all started.
