Windows 10: Hi I’m trying to run the Lords of Magic game on my Windows 10 laptop but it’s not working.

So I have the steam version of the game as well as the classic CD version from when I was a kid. On my Windows 10 laptop I’m having issues with the steam version being displayed it installs just fine but once I try to play the game I’ll get a black screen for about two seconds and then it will just cut out and then nothing else will happen. Is there a way to fix this so I can play the game?

I am trying to install Lords of Magic on my Windows 10 PC. I have the game on a disc and I cannot install it. It works fine on my Windows 7 desktop but I cannot get it to run on my Windows 10. I have followed previous guides with the compatibility settings
and it doesn't seem to work. I am all out of options at this point and hope that someone can help me with this.
