Hi, my C drive space keeps decreasing by a few hundred MBs to 1 GBs from moments to moments or day by day, I noticed this happening most often during and after I used an Internet browser sush as chrome or MS Edge, first I searched the internet and people say chrome is memory hogger and takes space, so I deleted chrome and start using MS Edge instead, however the problem still persist, I have also cleared all Internet temporary/cache file with disk cleanup and also used a 3rd party program like CCleaner to clean everything up but still the disk space never came back, I have also disabled hiberf

Decreasing storage space on C:/ drive

Hi over the past couple of days I have had a struggle with storage on my c:/ drive. I have deleted many applications in addition to remvoing 42 gB of files and application to an external harddrive with the ctrl + x - command. Nevertheless I only have about
2GB available at this moment and the number decreases for each minute. I recently removed about 5 gb of applications and therefore i have these 2 gb available at this moment altough it decreases for each minute.

To my knowledge I do not download anything at this moment.

This behavior can occur when System Restore is turned on on your computer. System Restore uses a portion of the hard disk to store "restore points." These restore points are used by System Restore to return your computer to an earlier state.

System Restore creates a new restore point each time that you start the computer.

Drive C space decreases constantly

Recently, my hard drive space keeps on decreasing every time I open up my laptop. Even if i uninstalled programs , deleted files, it would still decrease constantly. Last night, from 25 gb of free space, it went down to 6 gb then its now down to 200 mb.
At first I thought it could be a virus , so I ran my antivirus and a couple of antimalware programs as well as cleaners but even after cleaning it up, the problem still persists.

The problem just started around 2 weeks ago and ever since I haven't been able to fix it. Any help on this would be very much appreciated as I'm not particularly tech savvy when it comes to technology.
