Windows 10: hi my computer has been just black screening randomly

hi my computer has been just black screening randomly but the sound stays on and the computer is still running for a while whereas other times it will simply just restart all together? i think its when i run highly demanding games but im unsure because its just so random and ive started to go on event logger after i reboot and always find a critical message but dont know what it means or how to fix it, dont know if its any useful but here it is if someone could help me please?- System - Provider [ Name] Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power [ Guid] {331c3b3a-2005-44c2-ac5e-77220c37d6b4

Taco this could be software also. Before you get all crazy, do as Erocker suggested. Find out the error in the Event Viewer. Look for the faulting module and the error code itself. Also check the reliability monitor. At the bottom it will have "View all Error Reports". Post a screen of whats in there if anything.

This could be a simple as a bad driver install.

ALSO have you downloaded or installed anything lately? STAY OUT OF THE DAMN BIOS UNTIL WE KNOW THE ERROR! lol. I know you. Baby steps boy, baby steps.

So my computer randomly just switches to a black screen, and the audio is much like that of a BSOD. Once I get back into windows it gives me a debug screen and it simply tells me it was a BSOD. People have been telling me it is a power supply issue, and I just wanted to get a few more oppinions before I spend a fair amount of money on something I really don't need.
