ok, to start PLEASE any and everyone be patient with me I'm computer dumb. I mostly do my shopping on here and that's it plus I also type slow as you can see lol. As I think my title says I have a few questions about this charge they are trying to get me to pay for the Driver and Drive One stuff. I've had this laptop for at least two years, and I've never paid for it before, and I was told that they only do monthly payments, so I'd seen the charges by now. I have also been told it was a total scam because MS customers didn't need it. So, I guess my first question is: Are they scamming MS custo

Windows update reverted display to MS Basic Display Driver

Hi,

Normally, this issue occurs when the drivers were being corrupted or updated after the recent update. Since you've already tried to install the latest driver, we suggest that you roll back to the previous driver and check if it helps to resolve the issue. To
do this, kindly follow the steps below:

• Open Device Manager.
  
• Double-click the device for which you want to roll back to the previous version of the driver, and then click
  Properties.
  
• Under the Driver tab, select Roll Back Driver.
  
• Select OK.

Upgrading MS Basic Display Driver

I suggest you to disable the drivers before upgrade from device manager. If the drivers are not working in the new Windows, I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the drivers and check if it helps.

You can also install Windows 8/8.1 drivers in compatibility mode if there are no Windows 10 compatible drivers.

Follow the steps to install in Compatibility mode:

• Download the updated driver from the manufacturer’s website.
• Right click the driver installation file and select
  Properties then tap or click the Compatibility tab.
• Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode.
  
• Tap or click the drop down box and select a previous operating system, then tap or click
  OK.
• Try installing the driver and check.

ATI Driver install problems

Hi!

There seems to be a kind of a mess after deletion of your current driver.
Have you tried step-by-step drivers update procedure including Driver Sweeper, deleting Prefetch and Temp folders, etc?
