Hi, OneDrive recently asked me to change my password, and I did. Does this mean that my Microsoft account password also changed?

Recent (Save Files) - Change Default Settings to OneDrive

    Hello -
Thanks for the return. Before I undertake changing the Registry, I have a question.
The steps in my Registry, for my version of Windows 10, were a bit different, but I think I eventually got to the right spot.
The last step is to change the number of places you want to list in Recent Places. In my case, the default Max Display listed 50 as the number. So, if I were to change that number, how do I know the Save As page will be one of those places? Or, a similar question, will this registry change delete the tab Recent from my Save As page? This is what I would like to happen.
When I received my computer in Nov. 2016, the Recent tab was not listed in the Save As page. Something caused it to be added over time. Which brings me to this second question. Would there be any benefit in deleting the changed registry listing and reverting back to the default listing? See attachment.

  3. how to change onedrive password

    Hi. LetmeusethenameIwant

My name is Anthony, an Independent Advisor trying to help.

In this case, the point is that there is no possible method to change the OneDrive password alone.

Therefore, the only way to change the OneDrive password in Windows 10 is to modify the login details of your Microsoft account.

This hosting service allows you to send important files, as well as other data in the cloud. In addition, OneDrive also allows you to synchronize files on a PC and access them from a web browser or mobile phone whenever necessary. If any synchronization is
blocked, follow our guide to troubleshoot OneDrive in Windows 10.

Now, to continue changing your OneDrive password, see our step-by-step guide on the same topic.

How to change the OneDrive password in Windows 10:

Step 1 - Visit the Microsoft Account page and provide the login details to move on.

Step 2 - In the left sidebar, click on the Change password option, visible under your Microsoft ID.

Step 3 - Therefore, choose any of the options given to receive your code. After filling in the boxes, click Send code.

    > Step> Once you receive the code, simply type it in the corresponding field and click Send.

    > Step> As soon as you do it, you will reach to the page that will let you changeethe password. Now you just have to follow the instructions on the screen and fill in the corresponding boxes. Then, log in to the account with the new password.

For reference, follow our guide on How to recover lost password from Windows 10 Admin, Local Account.

Finally, close the Microsoft account page and log in to the OneDrive account page with the newly created password.

    Best Regards.

    Anthony. -
