Windows 10: Hi, running Windows 11 on a Dell Desktop.

I have only used a PIN to access Windows. I recently rebooted and the login screen was different, and I received a message that said: Something Happened and your PIN isn'tAvailable. Click to set up your PIN again.Set up my PINSign-in optionsThere is no way I can find to setup a PIN. I have never used a password on this desktop and am locked out of the account/Windows. How can I recover this account? I have tried to follow some other advice in this forum but am unable to get the CMD commands to work.

Hi, Cindy. Thank you very much for taking the time to reply to me. Unfortunately, I don't believe this is an issue with my internet or network settings. After running through the steps you've listed and rebooting my computer a few times in between, my Windows 11 desktop is still incredibly slow.

I would suggest you to un-install and re-install Quickset and see if that makes any difference:

I suggest you to follow these steps:

• Press Windows + R keys
• Type appwiz.cpl
• Choose Quickset and click on un-install.

Re-install from Dell's website and see if that helps.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
