Windows 10: Hi there, i ve noticed that my pc is doing something after going idle , not being idle...

I know the title might not make sense but let me describe it. When i let the pc go into idle mode the pc starts working kinda intensively on proccessing something because the fans start spinning faster making the pc louder. when i wake up the pc from idle state it goes back to quiet as if it stopped doing something and just chills until enters idle mode again. i m really sorry if this sounds confusing, i ve heard about virus that makes pc work during the idle mode to for example mine bitcoin, but my weekly windows defender says that no threats have been found. what can be taking so much energy

Bluetooth still on while idle

Thanks for following the steps. Now, the settings won't take effect if you are only using normal PC idle mode. Normal functionality of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi settings are to stay connected even if PC is idle. With the settings that you have created, we would
suggest that you set your PC to automatically go to Sleep or
Hibernate once idle. In this way, the settings "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" should take effect.

To set your PC to automatically go to Sleep or Hibernate when idle, please follow these steps:

• Open Control Panel, set view by: Small
  icons.
• Look for Power Options.
• Click on Change when the computer sleeps on the left pane.
• Set a timer.

Python Idle not working.

Hi Dexter, did Idle appear in the list of available apps to open Python scripts?

If so, open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu

Go to Apps - Default Apps

Scroll down and click 'Choose Defaults by App'

Does Idle appear in that list, if so, set it to have all its defaults form there and see if you can double click a Python script to open it in Idle . . .

 

Idle Buddy

Idle Buddy Hides under different names, it is hard to find and difficult to uninstall because of that . . .

Open the old Control Panel (click your Start Button, then just type control and hit Enter)

Go to Programs and Features

First look for Idle Buddy, it is unlikely it will have that name, then look for something like 'work group inc'

If you still cannot find Idle Buddy, even under a different name, order the list in Programs and Features by clicking on the 'Installed On' column header so that arrow faces down

That will put the list in a state so the most recently installed apps will be at the top, do you see anything suspicious there?
