Hi today morning i discovered razer cortex,i started pressing the boost buton and the other buttons that scan the pc and then optimize it ,but when i booted up eurotruck and in the backround spotify i couldnt stop the mousic with f5 and skip or play the song before f4,f6 when i closed the game i also couldn't stop it.Any help??

Early access event

Does razer cortex booster disables Windows Defender?

 

How to fix the system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer in this application error?

So this error seemingly can happen 2 ways and have already confirmed it is indeed razer cortex causing the issue.

Situation 1: Use Razer Cortex to boost within game booster and optimize in system booster, then go to try and launch game (in this case Overwatch 2), game opens but is essentially alt tabbed and the error message pops up.

Situation 2: You launch game prior to boosting anything via Razer Cortex and it seems to run fine for awhile. After a few matches fps will begin to drop so go to close game and relaunch and upon fully closing out of the game the error pops up alongside Razer Cortex and wallpaper engine (starts up due to it being suppressed by Cortex.

Only seen 1 other thread on it and I have figured out how to solve the error, but is their anyway to fully get rid of it while boosting with razer cortex as it does increase fps by a good margin, so still want to be able to utilize it? Thanks!
