Windows 10: Hi, weird icon at the tray as it gets populated over time.

Hi, there's been a mysterious icon appears on the system tray win 10 and the number of it increases as long as the pc is on, does anyone know what the icon means, also it disappears once I hover the mouse pointer on it, couldn't find any anomalies on task manager as well, any help to figure out what exactly this icon is appreciated, thanks and regards.

One Drive Icon Missing From System Tray


I have been having some weird problem with One Drive and have received several suggestions to look at the settings of One Drive by right clicking on the System Tray One Drive icon. That icon is not in the System Tray. How do I find it?

How to recover hidden icon in System tray on Windows 10?

As you are facing issues with un-hiding the icon in System tray, we will help you with this issue.

Do let us know which is the icon you have deleted from the system tray for better assistance?

I suggest you to try the below steps to add the icons to Taskbar and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key, click on Settings.
• Click on System> Notifications & actions.
• Click on Select which icons appear on taskbar (to select the icons that appear on Taskbar)
  and also click on Turn system icons on or off
