I own a retail copy of Windows 8.1 from the Microsoft Store.It is visible in my account purchase history.I furthermore have a retail Product Key associated with that purchasein the email I received when I made the purchase.I want to upgrade this machine, running this Retail copy of Windows 8.1,to Windows 10, through the Retail Upgrade 1-Year program.Here is my question.Will I receive an unique, individual, windows 10 Retail Product Key,That I can extract from the registry and write down on paper with a pencil,as opposed to TY4CG-JDJH7-VJ2WF-DY4X9-HCFC6build 10240 generic key?T

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
