Windows 10: Hi,

My laptop updated and logged me out. It states that "something happened, and your pin isn't available. Click to set up your pin again". So I tried to login and my password isn't working. I tried to set up a new pass word did the whole verify your identity thing and it's not recognizing me even tho it asked like when I was born and where , that's it, so again odd that it couldn't verify me. I've tried even password I've owned since I was born, none of them are working. How do I get back into my laptop. And here's the thing for a long while my laptop password defaulted to my Microsoft password

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
