    HID Compliant Touch Screen has been missing after update


    After a few windows updates, my touchscreen hasnt been working and I've tried everything to make it work. Theres no physical damage whatsoever, and when I searched on the drivers list, the HID Compliant Touch Screen Driver is not installed, and it displays a Code 45 error? I tried to update it and it says the latest version is already installed but clearly not since I still cant use my touch screen

    HID-Compliant touch screen

    HID-Compliant touch screen is not even listed under device manager anymore after doing an update. I have Toshiba Satellite, Windows 10.

    I have checked hidden folders, tried detecting for changes, updated drivers, everything. Still no touch screen. Please help?

    HID Compliant Touch Screen missing in Device Manager

    Hi Greg,

    The HID Compliant Touch Screen device is missing in Device Manager. It's not in error state. I have tried all the options which you suggested. It didn't work. Could you please provide the link for PC maker's Support
