Windows 10: Hidden Memory Being Used

My HD is being consumed by Apps & features, it is using 433 GB out of 460 GB total, but I might only have 30 GB worth of applications,I've read the space is used by hidden files recovery & shadow copies, I have tried Disk Cleanup with the more option/System Restore and Shadow Copies tab/option, Storage sense, and a couple of tools, all of them only delete a minimal portion of useless files, but never take care of the issue. Is there any way to fix this problem to find hidden files or hidden features etc that I could delete that I don't need in order to clear this problem.It

How to recover hidden files and folders from memory card.

Well, you can recover hidden files from the memory card by trying the command prompt option.
For this, you need to follow the below steps:

• First, connect your SD card with PC using the card reader
• After this, press the Windows + X keys to bring up a dialogue and then click on the Command Prompt (Admin)
• Now, type the command attrib -h -r -s /s /d G:\*.*(replace G: with the drive letter for your memory card).

After finishing these steps you have to go to your memory card to check if you can view all of the hidden files.

All hidden files turned Un-hidden

Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community and being part of Windows 10.

I suggest you to re-add them to the hidden items list and check.

Steps:

• Right click on the folders to hide, select Properties.
• Go to General tab, under Attributes check mark the option
  Hidden.
• Click on Apply and on Ok.

I suggest you not to use any third party anti-virus software. Try to use Windows Defender.
