  1. Hide/disable local account

When I boot up my machine, I am prompted with a failed login attempt to what I think is a local account, as pictured below:

    Hide/disable local account [IMG]

After clicking "OK", or waiting about 5-10 minutes, this will disappear, leaving me with the screen below:

    Hide/disable local account [IMG]

At this point, I can tap the fingerprint sensor and login.

I would like to skip the local login, and hide or disable that account, so I can login to my Microsoft account directly. In other words, the machine boots directly to the second image. How can I do this?

    :)

  2. Local account installation question

I'm fairly certain that Skip this step was available in 10.0.130 - the workaround in Step 20 (back button) is no longer required.

The currently known, as of 10.0.130, ways to create a Local account sign-in are
    • Skip this step at the MS account creation phase
    • No Internet connection during the install
    • static IP (post# 2 by Fragment) - New (to me anyway)

  4. Hide/disable local account

how to effectively hide or disable the taskbar?

    Hi,

Did you try the “Auto-hide the taskbar” option from Taskbar properties?

If you have not tried it, I would suggest you to follow these steps and auto-hide the taskbar:

    • Right click on Taskbar.
    • Click on Properties
    • Check the box Auto-hide the taskbar.
    • Click on OK.

    Hope this information helps.
