Windows 10: Hide filmstrip in Photos windows app?

Hello. New windows update new atrocities.Since today whenever I open any photo in mentioned app, 1/5 of it is invisible because it is covered with filmstrip which contains thumbnails of other photos from that folder. I discovered that pressing F button on keyboard removes that filmstrip bar, but only until app is launched again. Is there a way for Photos app to start with no filmstrip bar, like it was prior to latest update? If that's not possible, then, are there any other apps for viewing photos which displays them fully, without parts of it being covered with unwanted features? I mean, ok,

Where are Photo filmstrip and handles?

New installation, newest version.

Photo app only shows a single photo at a time. No filmstrip and no handles to advance to next photo.

In Settings the filmstrip is set to on.

 

Windows 11 Photos filmstrip

If the filmstrip at the bottom of the screen when you open a folder of photos in Windows 11 irritates you as much as it irritates me, try this:
1. Open the first photo in the folder
The first photo in the folder will open with the filmstrip at the bottom of the screen
2. Left-click on the photo
Hey presto! The filmstrip will disappear and it won't come back when you click on the > to scroll forward to the next photo.
Works for me, anyway.

 

Where are Photo filmstrip and handles?

I tried to view the pictures located in the LAN shared folder in the latest versions of Windows 11 and MS Photos, and found that filmstrips and handles worked. But it's worth noting that:

• When you click anywhere in the image, the filmstrips and handles disappear and can be restored by clicking again.
  
• And when you look at the first (last) picture, Previous(Next) disappears, and if there is only one picture, none of the above is displayed, it's by design.
