Windows 10: Hide modes that this monitor cannot display

The explanation why certain monitor can't have that option enabled or not is a little confusing, but I check on my device manager certain hidden drivers that supposed don't allow to enable this option and I found out generic and nor generic drivers and one little part of my monitor driver:Is safe and recommend to uninstall generic drivers to allow the monitor to display correctly my Windows, same it is a little old and basic monitor, or isn't the solution I want to find out?

The option to hide modes that the monitor can't display
is greyed out in the monitor tab in the advanced display properties. I also have the latest drivers for my monitor.

How do I fix this?

 

Auto-hide taskbar on second monitor only.

Please let us know which build are you currently in?

If you are in build number: 14342, I suggest you to follow the steps below to
hide taskbar on second monitor and check if it helps:

• 
  Right click on the Taskbar and Go to
  settings.
  
• 
  Click on the taskbar option.
  
• 
  Under Multiple displays you can turn off the option for
  Show taskbar on all displays.

How to auto-hide taskbar of the second monitor keeping unhide in the primary monitor?

I suggest you to follow the steps below to auto-hide taskbar on second monitor and check if it helps:

Steps:

1. Right click on the taskbar and select
Properties.

2. In the Taskbar tab under
Multiple displays, Uncheck the Show taskbar on all displays box.

3. Click on Apply
and Ok.

This will display the taskbar only on the primary monitor.
