I tried looking online for you, but only found what was suggested/mentioned above.

Yet, I found a quicker way to clear the history rather than going into Folder Options:

Right-click on the Address Bar, and press this:

Disable File Explorer Address Bar Path History?

Hello,

After entering a file path manually in File Explorer, the entry is kept in the dropdown list of the address bar until I go to View > Options > Clear File Explorer History. I'd like Windows to never store these paths, if possible.

I have successfully disabled autocomplete via the registry using the following guide, but it doesn't prevent the history of file paths to be stored: Turn On or Off Inline AutoComplete in File Explorer and Run Dialog

I've searched and searched but can't find a solution to this, yet. Hopefully someone has something to suggest that I haven't tried. I know it's possible, since I believe I had it working on my last Win10 machine, but I'm not sure how I did it.
